Palos Verdes Little League is committed to the health and safety of our players. In 2018, PVLL has instituted a new arm health program designed to bring attention to the pitfalls of overuse injuries, as well as offer a program to help strengthen the arm as players develop. This, coupled with revised pitching restrictions that further limit the potential burden of overuse, are just part of the way that PVLL is working to make Little League even more enjoyable and beneficial.

Introducing the PVLL ARM Program: Activity & Recovery Management

To support this program, PVLL has partnered with the varsity coach at Palos Verdes Peninsula High School to develop instructional videos that provide an optional strength and flexibility program.  As with any new exercise program, you should consult your doctor if you have any concerns. Below you will find those videos, an accompanying Exercise Guide for easy reference, as well as links to the exercise bands and the small weights that are used in the videos. On the playing field during practices and before games, these tools will be available to the players.
